2025-07-05 21:51:21 +0000 UTCHere's an interesting fact: The director of Thunderbolts* said in an interview that The Void's shadow powers were inspired by a real occurrence in the aftermath of the Hiroshima bombings, commonly called "nuclear shadows". I don't know much about nuclear physics, but basically, when the intense heat and radiation from the blast scorched and bleached the surrounding surfaces, they left behind imprints of whatever was standing in the way of the light and the heat of the explosion.

After I watched this at theaters, and a day later after the premiere, Marvel Studios revealed the actual asterisk which is the New Avengers. In my opinion, Marvel shouldn't reveal it on the movie poster and on digital platforms. My apologies for telling you the previous asterisk of saying the Avengers are not available because I did not want to reveal The New Avengers which that spoils the ending. I always respect to fans that I never spoil anything. When I saw the New Avengers label on digital platforms, I was like, "Really, Marvel?" 🤦♂️ I understand that the Thunderbolts movie poster was updated to "The New Avengers" to leverage the established brand recognition of the Avengers and create buzz around the film. This marketing strategy aimed to capitalize on the film's surprise reveal that the Thunderbolts team becomes the New Avengers, turning a perceived spoiler into a promotional tactic. This movie is really good but it flop at the box office unfortunately.
