The week is under the sign of the balcony, so preparations are sluggish.
I decided to start with my favorite, Sombra. I haven't sewn him in a while!
But, like I said, a lot more work was done on the balcony. Well... Started! That said, considering the repairs have been postponed and delayed - I'm really glad it's started after all.
I got the railing up this week (I plan to raise the floor) and hung the pre-painted plant bars. I painted the railing (one coat so far).
There's still a lot of work to do - cleaning and painting the soffits, painting a second coat of railing...
And wash off the cultural layers on the balcony wall... Four coats of paint and lettering. Aah! I really don't want to paint the wall down, so I'm going to try to wash this mess.
Put up a window sill and put the flowers back in place....
That's the plan for August.
In the meantime, the flowers are settling into their new bars and seem to be quite happy. At least I am.
At least they like it better than in the apartment, where they had to wait while the work was done on the balcony.
And at the same time, I trimmed and cleaned the snapdragons, preparing them for a new wave of blossoms, since I had to take them out of the railing.
