Fireweed: "Got ya!"
Tempest: "Ugh! I lived!"
Fireweed: "What? HOW?!"
Tempest: "Because I live through anything!"
Fireweed: "Hey, that's cheating!"
Tempest: "Nope, that's plot armor! Something only the main characters have!"
Fireweed: "Hrmph! I'm one of the main characters too! No way dSana's gonna let you hurt me--" *BLAM!* his hoof gets ripped off. "Whaaa?"
Tempest: "Spoiler alert, everyone..." Her voice turns to whisper. "He won't be in the sequel..." *wink* *wink*
Fireweed: "W-wait, think of what will Thistle say when you kill me!"
Thistle: "Um, Fireweed, that's not the best time to say this, but... you were adopted."
Fireweed: "... oh, come on, man!"
:P
... ... OK, I'll see myself out now...

It is called a Thunderstone, and the name "Tempest" translates to storm.
I'm still hanging onto the belief that Fireweed doesn't really know how to use the stone, and that Tempest has some kind of destiny-based alignment to it. That the stone in some way will resonate with her, and Fireweed will only be able to do a sort of half-damage, while at the same time managing to mostly fire her up.
Like trying to beat an ice demon with an icicle. Or lobbing firebombs at a fire monster.
The stone seems suited more to Tempest than Fireweed. He is just going to piss her off and leave her charged.
That's my headcannon/interpretation of it.

Run Fireweed! She’s turning into a Super Saiyajin!
Okay, her horn is leaking magic. That’s probably not a good sign.

Oh dear. Does the stone have mind alteration powers also (judging from the sclera changing color)?
