So now we know the answer to at least one question: Why didn't she scream?
Simple: She was trying. Perhaps not a scream in the true sense, but she was trying to loudly cry out for help.
But most of us have known that feeling, at least once in our lives, in which you're so scared you literally cannot get the words out. You try to yell, but you just can't even get the words out.
Lullaby was trying. But the panic kept her from being able to fully yell out.
Or it could be a nightmare, and the reality could be that she's yelling so hard that Thistle and Tempest have already been awoken. But you know, when you're dreaming, you never feel as if the words are actually getting out. Which usually causes you to yell even louder, so loud you eventually wake yourself up from the sounds of your own voice.
That is still the question. Reality, or Nightmare?
This one really is quite heartbreaking. It has moved me to tears.
