This scene was meant to be "show not tell" Starlight growing jealous over Twilight and Sunburst. However, I didn't want to dwell on this subplot too much and this scene was replaced by a short dialogue.

Starlight enters Sunburst room.
SG: Sunburst, are you here? I guess not.

She notices stack of letters on his desk.
SG: ?
Panel3
She now stands next to his desk.
SG: No, Starlight. That’d be a massive breach of trust. He's your friend. And he trust you. And you trust him....

She lifts the letter with her magic.
SG: “Dear Princess Twilight, I was so glad to receive your latest letter..." Blah blah blah..."Of course I remember Professor Inkwell, I enjoyed her lessons very much, even though..." blah blah blah....

"....I am so glad I can finally discuss magic theory with you.”

Starlight looking hurt and a little bit angry.
SG: You can discuss magic theory with me.
