about Patreon & alternatives!
Added 2023-10-05 04:20:40 +0000 UTCI wanted to put up a post today considering that Patreon just rolled out its rebranding/redesign, and I saw that some creators were seeing people leaving because of the site changes.
I totally understand if people want to stop pledging for any reason - but if the issue is just the platform, but you'd still like to keep it going a different way, I do have a backup in the form of our Discord server. It's possible for me to just set up a "recurring subscription" using Stripe, and then grant you access to the patron-only parts of the server so you still see all the art I post! If you want to do that instead, you can reach out to me on Discord.
So far I haven't had a chance to see all of the changes, but my Patreon isn't going anywhere right now! I will still be working to improve it and offer more stuff to patrons as often as I can. 💜

So far for me, this is fine. Honestly, it bothers me more for those I back for stories. I dislike the new text font. That said, it's probably best to keep options open in case things go south.
