Important tier changes

The $40 Kingpin tier will be gone by the end of this month; instead, the $10 Supporter tier will have those same benefits. The tier description will be updated to reflect this.

That means at the $10 Supporter tier you can do as you wish with prints of my sculptures. Sell them on Etsy, eBay, and conventions, and use them to promote your products in ads, cast bronze figurines, etc. Just don't re-distribute the digital files, and don't use my renders and photos while promoting them.

Having a "merchant" tier has never really sat well with me, and I've regretted it almost from day one, but at the time it was "the thing to do" so I went with it and making tier changes is always scary.

Also, finally. A plead. If you see other Patreons talking about this move in public (or even in their community spaces that you have access to) in a derogatory way, claiming I'm trying to copy them (this, unfortunately, has happened in the past in our 3D printing community, and it's never a nice thing), please don't engage them in my defence in a negative way. Keep it as classy as I know you folks are :)

Hell, I dabble in the occasional shit talk, myself, but it's important to do it in private. We all need to vent our frustrations, but it doesn't look good to do it in public.

I do understand the issue, but it’s pretty common practice that anyone running a business to provide the marketing material themselves, unless it’s some kind of drop shipping service. My presentation and marketing material is something I spend time on making for marketing me and my Patreon to prospective patrons. I hope you are understanding to the reasoning :)

I’m working on some proper branding because it’s about time I put together a decent logo. I will make sure everyone’s informed and supplied with both PNG and vector format images when I have something I’m happy with :)

This is awesome. I've always been a huge fan of your work. The only drawback is not being able to use the renders. Having to re-render every model before listing it for sale means I'll probably never actually sell them (plus I've never been able to get good renderings out of marmoset or zbrush), but it's awesome to have the option. And to people saying to print them first and list those pictures, nobody has time for that. I get between 150 and 200 new models every month and between printing thousands of minis for customers and trying to get all those listed, I don't have time to print things I haven't sold and put together a photo shoot! rofl

Thank you, Eastman! To ensure we give proper attribution, can you please share the artwork to put on pictures of models we print (paint), and sell to mark them as an Eastman design? Ideally, in png, with transparency. I hope this request makes sense.
