just wanted to update you all on what i've been up to and what i have planned for the rest of the year! (why is it october already help)

next video

as you may or may not know, my next video is a ✨big project✨

truthfully i have had a ton of issues getting this thing done, it was planned to release last month (september) hence why there was no upload :( however things are on track right now and my current goal is to release by october 19th, with a backup release date of "by the end of the month" just in case (without spoiling too much, it's a very personal project and the last thing i wanna do is rush it)

i'll explain more about the hiccups once it's complete, for now i'm keeping it spoiler-free and mysterious :D

vtuber 2.0

if you follow my livestreaming channel you may have already heard the story of how i took 2 weeks off to make a new vtuber model and then ended up scrapping the whole thing and starting over anyway :'D (i'm still very new to the programs used for "2d" vtubing so this was basically 2 weeks of trail and error)

i am still working on the new model but now i have dedicated times of the week to work on it, it'll take a bit longer this way but i'll be able to progress & learn without worrying about losing time for streaming and working on my other projects :>

i have a small collection coming out either by the end of this month or early november, it is very silly and cool

comics!

no preview for this one yet, but back in july/august i posted a bunch of old comics from an unfinished project (here's the post explaining all that) 

considering i have a bunch of ideas that would be too short for a video, i figured these'd be perfect for lil' comics (although technically i could do both, hmm), so expect to see occasional comics from me every few weeks or so :>

i think that's pretty much everything! save for a few secret projects 👀 (shh)

& to address the blob-shaped elephant in the room, patreon's new design changes are uh...interesting

i mean, i was here for the last pointless change so this isn't too surprising and doesn't yet give me the feeling of impending doom, i've heard the site wants to turn into more of a social media which honestly sounds kind of interesting? with what's been happening to twitter it might be a nice alternative, although part of me doesn't have too much faith that they can handle something like that and i kinda wish they would just fix the stuff they already have instead of trying to constantly force in new stuff :'D

idk, that's just my perspective as a creator, lemme know your thoughts, i get the feeling that most people don't really care as long as they can support creators but i'm curious how you feel about it, if you'd rather creators used a different service or maybe you even have positive feelings about the site & its changes? personally i'm very on the fence as i don't love it or hate it, but yeah
