Hoy, here we are here we go

Workflow:

So.. i had some strong artblock last week, and tbh still going slow atm. But i'm advancing, so i took on myself to not bash my head on the walls about it. It happen to any artist, as long as i manage to draw a bit it's better than nothing.
It's always the same issue, i work for other, again and again and forbid myself to draw for me and after weeks it just block me. I should draw for me time to time, but each time i repeat the issue, you guys that are here for some times now certainly noticed this pattern ^^
Anyway this week finishing the monthly 59. Then moving to rewards. Simple enough program!

The elusive dentist:

Got a .. number of tooth issue. To resume didn't saw a dentist in 3 years and.. back then he had told me "there's all these issue, take an appointment quickly to resolve them.
What happened is i had someone close dying in a violent way and .. for some time i just couldn't take care of me.
Anyway now i'm more encline to do it and i took an appointment with a dentist, 3 month later i go for it and... they don't accept my health mutual, well, they do, but in France we have a system called "Tier payant", third paying, basicly. The healthcare take over 2/3 of the price, but the last third is your health mutual. There two case, or the dentist accept the tier payant, and then, you pay nothing, it's just they have a direct link to the mutual system and they directly pay the dentist.
OR, they don't, and you have to pay the whole price and health care and your mutual ll pay you back the fee after a few weeks.
Dental are often quite expensive, so, i would rather take a Tier Payant. This first dentist assured me they did, i came in and suddenly "no we don't"
It.. waved a red flag for me. years before a dentist did the same and it was a scam, they said they didn't and at the same time they did so they took my money and the healthcare system money. Issue is my mom used to still work for the healthcare system back then (she retired since). And she did work on the bureay that check for scam X). They basicly scammed the sheriff son =D. So she intervene and the doc was closed.
but still... made me weary and i cancelled the appointment. Had to found a new one, and i did, the appointment was cancelled once (by me, i had covid) and Finally i got it tomorow. I do hope it work fine, it's just a visit to see what is wrong and the state of my mouth health.. i'm quite sure he ll look at me with sorry eyes and be like "we ll see each others a LOT"
Anyway, tomorow ll be settled for good i hope!

The indie games:

2024 was the indie game year for me. Before that i, barelly never played such games. And since, i couldn't stopped to. Chants of Sennaa, Caravan Sandwitch, Venba, Sable, Pacific Drive, SOVL, Dordogne, A game about Digging a Hole, Boxes, Citizen Sleepers etc etc. Been enjoying those a lot in the last weeks.
I think i wanna start a lil project. a Drawing where i would draw one character of the game i did each time i finish one. Just a me thing, that would keep growing at each new experience.
I might do this on my me time, just to try, been sometimes i want to do it.
So far my favorites, and the one i recomand the most would be :
Chants of Sennaa :
amazing sort of puzzle game about traduction (you got to understand 5 different language, their grammar, etc etc, really fun)
Caravan Sandwitch:
chill exploration, beautifull, and peacefull time
Citizen Sleepers:
scifi light rpg, with strong emphase to dialogues. Really make you build your own story, i KNOW i would replay it, and now they released the second! Really can't wait to put my hand on it!
Pacific Drive:
post apocalyptic road trip game, this game is a mood. Sometimes i launch it just to stay in the garrage, mods my car, and chill
SOVL:
you remember Warhammer fantasy? The figurine game? It's that.. without the right so it's not the drukhari but the winter elves etc etc, but basicly it's a tabletop wargame simulator, and ti's really fun!.. and it's free! They use IA for the illustration.. but as i said was free, and you can buy DLC to get new races and they started to use the money to actually hire artist to the new races, they promess if they make enough they ll give the treatment to old races too. Really fun game made by a team of passionate wargame players.

If you wanna tough, Venba and Digging a hole are REALLY shorts games (both less than 3h) and not expensive (less than 5$ if i remember) so, maybe give it a try, Venba is about Indian cuisine, a sort of puzzle game where you try to remember old family recipes. And digging a hole is about make your garden a mine to find a treasure.
Anyway all were fun experiences!
