I wasn't expecting this at all... her being a vulnerable child, all alone, that found her fate in the hands of a group that wanted to use her for their own twisted needs. The symbolism of the flower losing it's petals as the time passes, her inner self deteriorating as They kept control of her... damn, that hit me hard. She was hanging on by a thread as she escaped... Also, seeing her trying to be a normal kid then her having blood on her hands in the following memory... that's a different type of dark. And, as some people pointed out... she's definitely not the only one who had to experience this. Hell, she might have been one of the only ones to ever escape... who knows what would have happened if she didn't? This just makes me more interested in who exactly They are, and how they are able to get away with their actions.
