Forneus' transformation

I've mentioned many times that Forneus absolutely despises what he is. He hates the whole thing about being the Kraken, doesn't want to be scary and slimy or eat people. He'd rather be human than a sea monster that's meant to pop up during the apocalypse just for the drama! He doesn't like to see the parts of himself that remind him of the octopus, he can't change his eyes or the markings and freckles on his face so it's kind of a day ruiner for him to look into a mirror.

But I want to make clear that he absolutely adores his human form! When he spends time in his animal form and transforms back, his vessel goes back to the default, overpowered state it was in when Hell gave him this body. They always just made sure to make him look as strong and big as possible. First thing Forneus does after transforming back, is altering things the way he likes: Less muscle, more squishiness and roundness. And that's when he feels comfortable. 🥰 Making his own choices is what makes him feel good which is why he turned his back to Heaven in the first place. Quite disappointing that Hell is so similar to Heaven in the end... But if Forneus has one thing, it's a comfortable body he chose himself(and an angel boyfriend but shh).

Well, i mean after the apocalypse he does start to like his octopus too, but that's for another time hehe
