Monday… er Friday update

Moms moved in and back from rehab. Got a bunch of life stuff going on but next month my wife is giving me 2 days out of the house before her surgery to just write. So looking forward to getting words in.
Merchandise
Seems like a random thing to start off with. Currenrly I have a small shop on litrpgforge.com but as the webtoon gets moving along, they got an actual person who creates merch to start working on a line of things.
Is there anything specific you all want to possibly see so I can pass that on? We talked about autographed books / posters (of book covers) / etc. they wanted me to ask - so yah - here is me obeying.

Ul1
Let’s start with book 7. I know some of you are probably like oh where all the fights? There are some, but I’ll be honest book 7 really is about starting to connect lines and prepare for what’s to come.
Some big moments and a lot of fun and I think you’ll enjoy all 170,000 words.
Writing book 8 and the comments from my beta readers have been pretty awesome. A few fights and some other cool stuff so far as we get back to the tower and set up for once to come and book 9.
Book 9 is obviously the last book in this major arc that we’ve been reading since book one. Now, don’t worry because I’ve got books planned for after this, but just know I originally planned for nine books for all this. After book 9 finishes, I will sit down and finish working out the system for the next arc because it’s so much broader and larger scale. I’m thinking 3 to 6 books depending upon how I plot it. I doubt I would do nine again just because I’m afraid it would stretch on.

It is still waiting for me to get to. I just haven’t had time with everything going on in life, but don’t worry. I’m wanting to get back to book 3 and start writing on it again.

Throw them deranged elves into the lava for extra crispy!!! As opposed to the nice elves like Tanila! Too many other things including some RL stuff for me to start another story at the moment but good wishes there and whatever you are endeavors to accomplish too!!!

2025-01-31 20:04:12 +0000 UTCDon’t worry about the stuff you can’t control. No one has more than the 24 hours in a day we have been granted, and everyone has to sleep and manage other life stuff too. What I’m saying is, if you’ve only time to focus on UL1 it’s fine by me. Most important thing is you’re happy and healthy and writing good quality content. Unhealthily banging out multiple stories and driving yourself into the ground is not something anyone wants. Merchandise - I currently wear a Bog Standard Isekai hoodie quite a lot. Why? Because it’s warm and fuzzy, and the marking on it is subtle. If someone has read the story they’ll recognise it but otherwise it’s not trying to grab attention. So if you could do a hoodie with a little nod to the story on the front, a UL1 logo over the heart area or something? That’d be cool I think. Less is more in my mind. Thanks for all the great chapters! Really loving the way UL1 is going, keep up the fantastic work!
