Extended Writing Update
Added 2024-05-26 23:14:55 +0000 UTCI was pretty busy this weekend! Both with life and writing lol, and I'm very happy with how much I got done on both ends of things. This time around I bounced around between chapters filling things in and making some changes, and had another look at chapters 10-11 to decide whether I like the way they're looking in their first-draft stages. For a little more detail:
I filled in some more of the gaps in chapter 8, and edited the dream sequence.
I fixed some variable tracking issues, which took forever but was very worth it, obviously. It's nothing that affects the current alpha so don't worry :) It's all stuff that comes up in later chapters.
I did some more playtesting of chapter 9, this time from a story standpoint rather than functionality. I played around with switching the order of a few things, and so far decided to keep things as-is.
There's a moment in chapter 11 where I can't decide if it's too dark. I spent some time testing out potential reworks but I think I'm going to keep it. It's avoidable (very obviously so), so I think it's probably okay unless beta testers disagree.
I tweaked some dialogue in chapter 10 (there's a lot of dialogue in ch 10 lol). I think this is one of my favorite chapters, just because we're talking to one of my favorite NPCs for like half of it.
