Extended Writing Update

This was a very eclectic round of writing. I hopped to the epilogue chapter and coded out a few possible endings and wrote some of the RO-based conversations, including fleshing out one I'd already begun. Then it was time to spend some more energy on chapter 9, which I've come to accept as "this is my life now." 😂

I'm going to be working this coming week on writing, since with all the health issues I've been having I've started falling a little behind. My chronically ill ass is forever grateful to you guys for bearing with me while I pull my life back on track ❤️ I plan to get the spring RO stories done this week and work a little more reorganizing/redrafting magic on chapter 9.

I will say, one of the really fun things about this stage in the writing process is seeing the different epilogue scenarios. I didn't expect to enjoy writing the niche "broke up with an RO" scenes, but here we are. I'm always so averse to making people sad, let alone writing out the awkwardness of a breakup's post-mortem, but there's something almost sweet about being able to see the ROs and MC move forward with the maturity to be like yeah, we didn't work out, but that's okay. Kind of a relief for me that the characters want to go in that direction, tbh, since I need to focus more of my time on the "continue the romance route" endings. They'll be a lot more common to choose, I know, so the fact that the other endings are falling into place easily is a relief.

I think that's about what I've got in terms of updates for this weekend - I'll probably most a mini-update here again on Friday just to go over what I've done during the week (it helps keep me accountable, and idk I just enjoy posting here lol). For now, though, here's this week's preview :)
