Quick note for the upcoming alpha

Welp, I might be infected with rabies, nbd 😭

That being said, the alpha will still update on schedule! But I hope you'll understand if it's not the entirety of chapter 9. I was also in the hospital yesterday for what's either an allergic reaction to the animal or an unrelated virus, so in general I'm just moving slow. I will do my best to have multiple alpha updates next month to make up for it, although it'll be dependent on my health. Aka if they catch the animal within the time window/determine it's healthy via quarantine/if I end up having to get rabies IG+vaccines/how I react to that treatment since I've got health conditions that make any vaccine really scary to get bc of how it might interact with those conditions.

I'll keep you posted.

This feels like one of those old-school fanfiction updates where the author's notes include reasons for a chapter delay being things like "I just left jail" or "I'm getting married... in 5 minutes. I'm writing this in my wedding dress." And joining those esteemed ranks is the only thing preventing me from having a mental breakdown.
