"Who are all these Fey?" I ask, shocked.

"Who are all these Fey?" I ask, shocked.
"I call this one impy," Keo says, gesturing to a red creature the size of my fist perched on his/her/their shoulder. I only recognize it from my memory of a bestiary; I've never been far enough into the desert to see one before. It looks like a jackal, but with two little horns and scales instead of fur. Where its eyes should be are two globes of shifting sand. It rotates its head until its chin is pointed at the sky and makes a face at me. I laugh, surprised.
