As you can see, the human kingdom itself occupies the inner half of the continent, while the fae live in the surrounding lands. The kingdom is divided into 26 territories plus the capital. There are four rivers, all of them running through the capital. There is only one port from which ships can leave - the rest of the coast is controlled by the fae.
