Evaluation of game progress
Added 2016-06-08 19:01:43 +0000 UTCIt's been some months since I started. I wanted to see whether this idea would pan out into something deep and creative, and it looks like it's heading that way. I have more ideas now than I did at the beginning of the project, which is good. The art is improving, thanks to contributions to this patreon. The storyline is materializing. Fetishes are being populated. I've still got a lot of parasite situations to cover.

I'm more comfortable asking for larger donations at this point. There is a future to this game, and it can become something really really big. Like, I'm envisioning something involving VR eventually.
Short term goals:
Capital
- Adobe Creative Cloud, all programs including illustrator photoshop audition and flash ($75/month)
- Mediafire Hosting (~$10/month)
- TFGS advertising and support (for the site that made the initial distribution of this game possible, ~$10/month)
Labor
- Anon Smith programming, writing, art (I'll take as much as I can get)
- Music by NIkeils (undisclosed amount - tbh they've done amazing work so far and I have only seen an increase in quality since the start)
- Hoping to get enough to pay a writer
- Hoping to get enough to pay an artist
Long term goals:
- Unity Engine license (professional)
- Get more programmers
- Get someone who understands multiplayer 1st person action game design
So that's the path forward. There is depth here, and I'm going to mine it until I run out of ideas.
I've put up special categories for sponsoring specific expenses on the sidebar over there. I feel like this is the right thing to do, and makes it much easier to know where your money is actually going.
Footnote: Thank you to the recent pledges. Your support continues to push this forward.

2016-06-10 02:55:32 +0000 UTCWhen infesting the mall if you do all the small stores first before the big ones you cant sleep anymore to build up resources to get the big stores. Not sure if intentional design or not.

2016-06-08 19:16:52 +0000 UTCUnreal 4 is free to dev on and includes all manner of VR plugins ready to go, since you're technically not Selling PI then you'd be entirely free all along.
