My parents made their living with original hand puppets that they would sell and demonstrate at art fairs. They knew nothing about ventriloquism, so they simply talked while moving the puppet mouths. Almost always, the public would talk to the puppet not the person speaking. Anthropomorphic behaviors seem to be a basic part of our biology.

Will this become a digital collector’s item - with the uncorrected typo?😁

Luddites were not merely people opposed to progress. They were people well aware that industry was the future, and they wanted the gov't and business to help minimize the blow to society it would cause. Families would now be torn apart to send children across the country to be trained. Dangerous child labor. Mothers would be working in factories instead of the home, and activities that she would do at home to earn extra income was now being automated, reducing household income. Their pleas were met with the same reaction we get from gov't and industry today: they were ignored. They did attack businesses, but only after being ignored by the wealthy that were destroying their lives and the gov't that was supposed to serve them, not just the elite. As the losers, they were vilified and derided with their moniker being made synonymous with stupidity and anti-progress. The same way "woke" has been twisted by the right today. History repeats itself because we don't listen and the powerful use time-tested tactics that have proven successful. This is why skepticism is so important.

Court seems more like an emotional battle inside psychological manipulation wrapped in a rational evidence-based patina that may result in justice.

Two #991’s? Are we stalling for #1000 or was there a clerical error? Probably just a typo 😂
