From what I understand of Bayesian statistics, basically, if you subjectively think it's possible, it confirms your bias, therefore it's true. Reading about Bayesians vs. frequentists in Julia Galef's The Scout Mindset, apparently, the Israel-Palestine debate is less controversial.
