A simple operation. That's what they told you. A quick battle, and an assured victory to ensure homeland security. And as the Battalion rolled through the trees, morale high and eager for combat after so much time spent training, you had no idea what was really waiting for you.
It all happened so fast there wasn't even time to issue a retreat order. The trees came to life as if by magic, trapping and crushing every single vehicle and most of the soldiers inside. And giant warriors jumped down from the branches, tearing open everything and everyone in their way. It was a miracle you managed to get out of the troop hatch and run for cover before you suffered the same fate.
