Since members from all over the world are learning Shamisen here on Learn Shamisen, why not share a folk song from your country with the community?
Ki&Ki often perform around the world, and by learning about the local music of each place, we come to love it even more. Fennario is a folk song I was taught in American grammar school. The origin of the song is debated (American, French, English, Scottish), but it is agreed to be at least two hundred years old.
