Wow, I didn't know Scoups took a job to help provide for the guys. What a great leader. I can only imagine how grateful the guys were. He must have worked so hard. And it makes sense now that Seungkwan is kind of the variety show king. Going around to the shows like that and making sure they were entertaining. Good on him. Thank you for the great info!

So svt had a predebut 'show' where pledis had put up a couple of cctv cameras in their practice room and they will air a long ass episode every week online. That room was in the basement of the old pledis building, with no windows or vents for sunlight, and it was painted this sickly green colour. Fans usually refer to that room as 'MELONA PRISON', but anywho, that room and their little experimental 'show' was famous even among idols back then. A bankrupt company trying to make money in anyway possible off of the kids. 2. Too many mouths, what would we do for food This one is reference to the fact that they were self producing out of necessity from the get go and Woozi had the biggest load of it all, because if the songs he wrote and composed didn't do well, it's all on him. Also Hoshi had to choreograph all their songs and be confident that it would get noticed by gp because they couldn't afford to hire choreographers back then. Scoups took a job as a barista to earn money to put food on the table, because the rest were still minors and still in school. Seungkwan went around personally to all sorts of variety shows, big or small, begging them for a chance to have their group appear. Variety show experts now talk about how this sweet funny kid would come around and ask for a chance and say, "Cast us, you won't regret it. We would make it fun" Later on, Scoups and Jeonghan went to university to study business because they didn't want to get caught unaware by the whole industry because ppl might think they are just kids and then try to scam them. 3. They said we would crash and burn This one is quite self explanatory I believe😂

2024-11-07 19:54:25 +0000 UTCits the 3 seventeen unit leaders. Scoups - hiphop team leader, Hoshi - performance team leader and Woozi - vocal team leader. When they debuted, they didn't have enough in-ear monitors for all members, so some had to perform without them. And also their CEO was so dedicated to their success that he even sold his house to support their journey.
