Patreon Rewards
Added 2024-03-27 12:28:42 +0000 UTCWe’re in the process of redesigning the Patreon and are curious, what would you most like to see added to this community?
From everyone here at the team, thank you for your dedication to the channel. We're able to create so much more thanks to all of you.

I am game for anything really. If there must be a thing, I prefer more... casual content, something that doesn't take much effort or production. Maybe subjects that likely won't ever turn into full videos, either because there isn't enough meat to them, or because there's too much, so they just turn into nice and casual "the team talks to a camera for a bit"

2024-03-28 03:39:22 +0000 UTCI seem to be like many others and support this channel because it is free and deserves to be supported. I would actually vote *against* exclusive videos if possible. Educational content like this is good for everyone.

2024-03-28 00:45:34 +0000 UTCI picked interaction with the team. But if you do nothing, I will not stop my Patreon. While exclusive videos sounds cool, I do not want the team spending time on things that do not go out to the whole Internet. As for signed stuff, I have a shade ball and love it. But I would pay for those. Do not give up a revenue stream!

2024-03-27 21:34:07 +0000 UTCAnything or nothing work equally well for me. I'll support either way. I don't love the idea of giveaways if they encourage the creation of things just to giveaway -- Seems like senseless consumption. If they already exist, then it makes more sense.

2024-03-27 15:31:42 +0000 UTCQ&A would be great but I do worry that this could drive up your costs. Like many others I do enjoy your videos the way they are.

2024-03-27 15:15:16 +0000 UTCI loved the shade ball giveaway (I still have mine somewhere). Exclusive videos are nice, but I have the fear that it might not be worth the time for the Ve Team. The videos will only be for a small circle of people, and will potentially take quite a bit of work, only for not a lot of people seeing them. Some channels make the patreon exclusives only exclusive for a year or so to mitigate this cost investment problem

2024-03-27 15:10:44 +0000 UTCI appreciate the early releases of the videos, but usually wait on YouTube because I like to see the final graphics. However, I simply don't feel bad for skipping the sponsored segments at times.

2024-03-27 14:30:15 +0000 UTCTo this day you guys are the only Patreon I support and it is precisely because what you do and how you do it, is meaningful to our society.

2024-03-27 14:10:55 +0000 UTCI enjoy supporting you because you make great things and I'm fortunately in a position to be able to help you out. Given that, I'd rather you focus all your energy on your content. Anything you did specially for me would detract (slightly) from the kind of content I want to support. So I don't need or want anything but thank you for thinking about this!

2024-03-27 14:06:45 +0000 UTCI am glad to support Veritassium! I anxiously await each new video and tell others that this is one of the few places that values accuracy over clicks!

2024-03-27 13:09:21 +0000 UTCHow about occasional commentary on past videos, whether recent or distant, on anything that was interesting or felt worth discussing? I'm sure that you have to edit out 90+% of what you film, and that there are a lot of experiences and thoughts and lessons learned that don't make it into the final polished video. For example, the recent video on katanas generated a lot of reactions and feedback. I'd be curious to see an informal commentary about your thoughts and experiences and lessons learned from this video.

2024-03-27 12:47:06 +0000 UTCDon't distract yourselves from the quality videos but wouldn't say no to small giveaways

2024-03-27 12:43:39 +0000 UTC[X] Don‘t do anything. High quality content should be freely available and e.g. giveaways are only unnecessary distractions/resource hogs.

2024-03-27 12:37:48 +0000 UTCPatreon is to support your work, not a pay-per-view platform. I support whom I see as valuable for society at large. I want your videos out there for others to learn.
