When retired schoolteacher Celia Blay stumbled across an online forum where suicidal individuals shared their innermost thoughts, she had no idea that she was about to encounter a serial predator. What really bothers me is that they don't get down to the bottom of WHY this guy wanted to convince people to unalive themselves. Not just "because he wanted to feel powerful" because most people want that and few of them do what he did. Carceral punishment doesn't ID the root of the problem.

Hi guys, this is your periodic reminder that if you are experiencing thoughts of self harm or are in a crisis and need help (and are in the US), you can call or text 988 to be connected to a live volunteer any time of day or night. Your thiughts and experiences matter, and it's okay to feel grief or sadness, and to talk about your feelings. You are not a burden and you deserve to feel safe and comfortable. I love you.

Folks point to the sense of anonymity as a reason for the rise of online bullying. This takes it to a whole other level. What I find really appalling is this man trying to blame it on his daughters. Disgusting person.
