2024-05-19 00:47:57 +0000 UTCIn Alma's case, mentioned at the end is a letter that was sent claiming to be from the real killer. It indicated that the real killers mother was ill at the time which is why he never came forward. Was anything ever done to check correlations between suspects from the time, their mothers, and a move to country Victoria at the time the letter was sent ? I loved this episode, as a melbournian by birth it was fascinating to hear about the city at the time. Kudos to the writer, I could picture everything in my head when I was listening. Hopefully more of these atmospheric older Australian stories ahead !

Just noticing where you are pointing out mishaps in the original investigation and police work. Maybe you’ve always done that, but I recall recognizing it more and more since you came back from the holiday break in Feb. As always, thanks to the team for all your hard work! And, just throwing it out there, I will be your tour guide and sign whatever NDA I need to if anyone from the Casefile team 😉😉 want to come out to Wyoming and take a crack at any of our true crime cases- we’ve got Amy Burridge/Becky Thomson, Amy Wroe Bechtel, Lil Miss, Jamie Kamai, the Coin Shop Murders. I could go on and on.
