I listen!!

I listen to all the extras - it's how I get my Casefile fix when I'm all caught up on episodes! I liked your idea of opening it up to questions from the fans ... it could be fun!

Amy McCoubrey

And as far as Unsolved Mysteries, yes totally terrifying as a child! Love it! and Cobra Kai!!

B-randy D

Totally listen to the extras!

Hi Georgina, it is currently available to detective tier patrons only, however will be availble everywhere this weekend.

Casefile True Crime

apparently you’ve releases a new episode but I can’t see it :-(

Georgina

Thank you Megan. We will publish a post here on Patreon specific to the upcoming behind the files episode for you to submit any questions.

Casefile True Crime

Sorry I’m late. I love the behind the scenes on the cases. I definitely will submit questions, should that just be on the comments within Patreon when episodes are published?

Megan

Excellent, thank you Susan!

Casefile True Crime

Great, thank you Kelley!

Casefile True Crime

Thank you TRC!

Casefile True Crime

Thank you very much Andi.

Casefile True Crime

Thank you Sean, much appreciated.

Casefile True Crime

I like the follow up episodes. I would appreciate it if you would start each follow up with a sentence about the case - I don't always recognize the name and definitely don't recognize the case number, so Lawrence Haggart may not ring a bell but "the teenage soccer star who was killed in his own home and set on fire whose 12 year old brother falsely confessed" would give me the oh yeah moment to understand the follow up.

Susan Rachel

I listen to and enjoy the behind the files episodes! I like hearing from the team and agree that hearing about what's included/not included in episodes and why y'all made that decision is interesting. I also appreciate the personal perspective that your behind the files gives - especially loved the flashback conversation about Unsolved Mysteries 😂 Casey, you are our Robert Stack 🙏

K. Smith

These are good, but I think a semi regular episode updating developments in cases you have covered is really interesting, it actually gives a connection to what the families have suffered and how it has changed their lives. They could be once every 3 or 6 months, but I found this sort of information more interesting. Great work all the same!

TRC

I love the behind the files and the AMA. They are our way to interact and get some behind the scenes of the production. It gives a lot of context and explanation to the cases and case selection. Please keep doing these!

Andi

I do listen to these behind the files and I enjoy the fact they bridge the gap between the main episodes. In truth, some can be hit or miss (sometimes the conversations are a little stilted) but I do admire the fact you guys continue to think up innovate ways to engage with your patreons and you will continue to have my support as a result. As an idea, I’d love a yearly round up episode where you share/talk about the top 3 listened to/highest engagement episodes that year....or even dip into the back catalogue to remind listeners of popular previous cases.

Sean Donegan

Great, thank you Connor.

Casefile True Crime

We will do, thank you Pegsi!

Casefile True Crime

Excellent thank you Rebekah.

Casefile True Crime

I listen to every AMA and Behind the Files. One suggestion, as others have mentioned, is to quickly recap the episode (memorable details about the case that stand out) before discussing it, as it quite a bit of time has passed since the earlier episodes have been released. Other than that, both extra content is greatly appreciated.

Connor Z

Yes definitely open up a question forum after each episode!!

Pegi Miskey

Love these behind the file episodes!! It’s great hearing from all the people who make this show so amazing. Questions about the cases is a great idea!

Rebekah

Will do Captain Flint. Thank you!

Casefile True Crime

Thank you Sophie! Very much appreciated.

Casefile True Crime

Yes please keep doing these behind the files shows!

Captain Flint

I’m a new(ish) Patreon and this is my first listen to Behind the Files. Loved it! Maybe if you think the other Q&A is getting stale the combo of Behind the Files and opening up Q&A about the case would be great. ☺️ P.S. I know everyone says this but it can’t hurt to hear it once more, I love this podcast. It was my first podcast I ever listened to and still remains my favourite. Can’t wait until Feb 6th!

Sophie Rae

Thank you Tearyawna, that's a good idea and something we will consider also!

Casefile True Crime

Fantastic. Thank you luckyjeane!

Casefile True Crime

Excellent, thank you Michel.

Casefile True Crime

I listen to Behind the Files! I like the idea mentioned of opening it up for Patreon subscribers to ask questions about the cases being covered. Maybe even hold a retro Behind the Files for cases covered early on?

Tearyawna Scott

I am a patron BECAUSE of the AMAs. I learn so much. Thank you.

luckyjeane

A quick recap of the cases before the new info is given would be nice. Otherwise these extra episodes are great. I LOVE Casefile, you guys do an incredible job!

Michel Schreiner

Thank you Charles.

Casefile True Crime

I have enjoyed listening to these. I liked the inclusion of extra info that was cut from the episodes - it adds more detail.

Charles Comiskey

Thank you Tasha. Much appreciated.

Casefile True Crime

Great thank you Stefan, we will do that.

Casefile True Crime

I have listen to all of the behind the files, I think they are really good and interesting to know how long the cases take to do.

Tasha Bull

I listen to all Behind the Files. I think opening up to questions would be great!
