I wonder how much of what they said was true. A whole grandfathering in of watchers? Sounds like a 21st century Texas Chainsaw Massacre family or something. But they exist to protect this house. We had to do community presentations to get approval. Some of the people who show up to these are truly unhinged and are completely obsessed with a house they don't even live in. My theory is that the watcher is one of these types of people who thinks the new family doesn't belong for some reason to another.
