He’s soft-spoken but piercing, he treats you not as an object, but a marvel - asking permission before every touch. He notices the way you flinch when your bare arms are exposed for the first sitting.
He asks gently, “Have you ever been looked at before? Not seen. Looked at."
And you realize - you haven’t.
Over time, the tension between you simmers. One night, you stumble into his studio and find a statue that is unmistakably you. You ask him what he sees when he looks at you, his voice breaks, “Everything I’ve ever wanted to touch.”
And when he finally does touch you, it’s not as an artist with his muse - but as a man who’s loved you in silence through every carved line and every withheld breath.

i KEEP coming back to this one. there is something sooooo perfect about his performance here. as someone who’s spent tons of time around various “creatives” and artists, he captures the tone and cadence of this character so well, in such a subtle yet effective way. like, i can hear sooo much in his voice here… his older age. his expertise in (and love for) his craft. the way he trails off/gets lost in thought while explaining things. the quiet yearning (of course). and that just… faraway quality his voice gets sometimes—one that i’ve heard a million times from artists or directors or professors I admire. the way he’ll casually speak the most breathtaking bit of poetry , and then snap right out of it with a “you want some water?” or something like that 😂 to where it almost disorients you. where you don’t even want to breathe too loudly, because you’re afraid you’ll miss something he says, and you want to hang onto every word. i could keep going. but yeah. UGH. this is UP there for fave audios for me.

I have to say that this is my second favorite audio that he has done. and chef's kiss to Riley Brown. The story is just beautiful, and with Robinson's voice to bring it to life just makes it so real.❤️
