Development Update (July 2021)

Greetings Adventurers!

What have I been up to?

• Working out some bugs with 0.8.* versions and logging upstream issues.
• Adventure Muncher is now in beta for everyone! You can find it here if you've not yet checked it out. It's slowly improving and on Foundry 0.8.8 you can now import all adventures, and scenes and good progress is being made to add alignments, walls etc.
• The scene data has been split out into its own repo which the adventure muncher will check for updates on start. This allows for a quick turnaround and sharing. When updates are submitted for maps they are now used by both the muncher and KaKaRoTo's Forge D&DBeyond integration. Isn't that cool?
• Tokeninzer can now read from a directory of frames and provides a list as a dropdown. (DDB Importer can now also grab your frames from DDB for Undying+ tiers - it's in the experimental tab).

• A large number of small bugs fixed for DDB Importer than had accumulated in the previous month.
• Improved checking of campaigns, and providing a campaign dropdown for easier selection of which campaign is sharing content with you.
• I took it easy for a week for a semi-holiday!

What went wrong?

• 0.8.x is still uncovering a few bugs, even now.

What's coming this month?

You all voted in the poll, the winner was...

• 34% Focus on improving scene quality in adventure muncher
• 24% Resource linkage and feature usage improvements. e.g. monk ki point abilities don't all link to their ki points to decrease.
• 19% Artificer Infusion support

These are the top three. I will be starting to focus and dig into these a bit more.

The key posts have been updated with the new keys for July. The 0.8.x version now supports linking your Patreon account to auto-generate a key that's valid for a month. I'll slowly be phasing out the keys posted to the key page, but they will remain as people transition to the 0.8.x version of the software.
