Hey, remember this scene?

Yeah, we voted for it months ago, but I never actually put it in the game. In it, Blake and Vanessa go to the VR-salon, and Vanessa asks Blake to show her his day when he got arrested. Well, you don't know that, but I actually finished this scene but was hesitant to implement it because I just simply… didn't like it. At all. I didn't like the pictures, I didn't like the writing. Vanessa was wearing actual Blake's clothes in this scene — intended for a male model — so it looked all wrong and distorted around some… important parts of her body. So, I switched them for something that looks better on her and does appear somewhat close to the original. No one is going to waste time on actually comparing the clothes, right? Ha. But in terms of the actual event the changes were a lot more severe. See, the first draft was mostly (or rather entirely) focused on the prison event. It had to point to some unpleasant truths about the police department that Vanessa had to learn. And also, while you do see Vanessa here, it was supposed to be her mind in Blake's body, so the difference with the actual scene was all about her reactions and nothing else. I just figured that it would be very boring. And now I decided to rewrite the scene completely. Now it's actual Vanessa instead of Blake, and you wouldn't spend much time talking to the police chief, instead you go to the mansion and meet with Melinda and Samuel (and boy, those two are going to be surprised to see Vee, ha-ha). Seeing Vanessa in Blake's maid uniform is a reward on its own (stockings and high-heels, when else can we see her like that?), but perhaps this scene will provide Vee with some insight into Melinda's personality. And if they're dating… or especially if Vanessa is dating Blake, she might not like what she sees. She won't let Samuel do anything to her, that's for sure (though, if Blake is on Samuel's route, the dialogue here will be kinda funny. Hopefully). Anyway, no more filler shit, time for actual fun. Right? :)
