Hello. Time for another attempt at choosing Blake's future hair.
As most of you already know, for Daz there's a huge difference between male, and female bodies. And Blake, no matter how girly he/she is, still uses the male model, and that's not gonna change for various technical reasons. Which is why there's a problem of compatibility with female assets (most of which aren't unisex). And while I can hide some of distortions and imperfections, it's hair where things are getting messy. And I've been on a quest to finally find something that both looks good, and doesn't get ruined when I turn Blake's head (you can actually go look at the renders from v0.10–v0.11, in all of them Blake keeps his/her head straight. Seriously).
Well, it seems like this mission is impossible. My only solution is to use «heavy» (in more ways than one) dforce assets which you need to simulate using the physics engine. It's time consuming, and often frustrating, but that's just how it is. So, here's another one. All these three styles belong to the same asset. So, I need your opinion. Does it look good? Any of those? I personally prefer the first one, cause it's the easiest to simulate, but there's still time to figure things out, and I just need you to tell me if it's even worth trying or should I go look for something else. So… thoughts?
