Hiiii, i’m sure you all have long since watched all of yorknew, but just chiming in that the kurapika flashback manga chapters are really cool and a super interesting read! Not required reading, but definitely canonical, and afaik they don’t spoil anything post-yorknew. You get a lot of yummy kurapika lore, even if the movie with the animated flashbacks is mid

It's a common enough play on words that there's a beloved owl statue in the Tokyo ward of Ikebukuro (which roughly translates to 'pond bag') called the Ikefukurō.

One thing I noticed: the title "Condition × Condition" feels like such a clear example of them using the X as multiplication symbol as Kurapika's teacher talks about how nen contracts increase nen power multiplicatively. It makes me wanna pay more attention to the other similar episode titles
