If you are getting crashes in the overworld there is an option in setting that may help, it will hurt your framerate so its not on by default.
Focus this month was on updating combat. You should not longer be soft locked in passive. Nor in active will an enemy like Beast not use any moves. Slamming an opponent into an object now requires them to travel a certain distance for a knockdown. The damage curve has been changed, you should be doing a lot more early game and a bit less late game.
NPCs have been optimized more, they will occlude when you are a certain distance away, also should have significantly less issues with them or the player falling through the world.
Combat animations have been cleaned up along with fixing some visual issues with weapons.
