The final update (0.6.8) will come out in December with the last big content update will be 6.4. I will keep the Patreon up until the end of January so people can access the Patreon version until the final update is released. However there wont be an update to the game after the 6.8 Hotfix. The final version of the game will be free, and anyone who has contributed will get their names up on the Patreon page in game.

So in January what I would like to do is put together some proposals for future Projects, and let people vote and give their feedback on that. Along with a Post Mortem and my thoughts on the process and what I want for the future.

Hiatus

2025 I will be taking a break and stepping back from development, it will probably be for the whole year, but I'm not going away. I will be deactivating my Patreon, but I will still keep my animations up, and I'll have a link for the whole archive on my Furaffinity. So don't worry nothing will be lost. Depending on interest I will keep the discord up too.

Future Projects

When I come back, probably around January 2026 I'll get to work on redoing some of the old systems. Like I said theres a bunch of new features, performance increases, reorganization, and bug fixes that require me to remake large components of the game. The goal of this would be to make a "Growth Game" framework for other games. It would have an attribute/growth system along with the character creator and all the growth animations and character models. And the framework would be something you could play, so you could design your characters and make them grow.

I want the framework to be something that can easily be used in other projects, possibly something that I could give to other people to develop their own growth games, since I would like to play some myself too.

This will probably take around 6 months, after which there will be a vote on future games. This will be based on the feedback I get from the proposals in January If you want me to continue with GrowthRPG then thats fine, if not then we can move on to something else.

January 2025: Last update, vote on future project ideas

February: Start on my hiatus

January 2026: New Patreon start working on new framework

July 2026: Start work on proposed game ideas
