Transitions - A Neophyte Short Story

I've spent the better part of three years writing in CYOA format and while that's a lot of fun, it can often mean that finer details of the world I've created don't get explored. I've had this concept of Anahete's younger years mulling around in my brain for a little while now and I wanted to share her with you all.
