๐๐๐ฎ In a realm far away, beyond the vast reaches of wildspace, a unique fusion of energies birthed the Spelleater designs. Craftsmen of this realm, inspired by the interplay of these energies, began to produce two distinct items harnessing the realm's innate power: the Spelleater Axe and the Spelleater Armor.
The Spelleater Axe was conceived with the capability to absorb and reallocate arcane energies. Designed as both an instrument of defense and a weapon, its strikes resonate with the essence of its distant homeland, severing both physical and magical entities with unparalleled finesse.
Similarly, the Spelleater Armor was developed as a safeguard. Donned by many in that distant realm, it provides its wearers the unique ability to harness incoming arcane surges, diverting them to fortify their protective barrier. ๐๐๐ฎ

Weapon (axe), rare (requires attunement)
This hefty axe is decorated with luxurious fur, which covers its haft. Three monstrous mouths, filled with jagged teeth, are carved into its blade, and a set of eyes, which occasionally blink and shift about, peer from just above the axe's grip. These eyes seem to be ever-vigilant, watching for arcane energies to consume.
You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with this magic weapon.
Spelleater. If a spell is cast within 5 feet of the wielder, they can use their reaction to attempt to consume the spell with the Spelleater Axe. The wielder makes an attack roll with the axe against a DC of 10 + the spell's level. On a success, the axe consumes the spell, preventing its effects, and the wielder gains a bonus to the axe's damage rolls equal to the spell's level for the next attack. On a failure, the spell is cast as normal.
