Covid Cherry Popped
Added 2024-01-09 18:00:07 +0000 UTCAfter four years of avoiding covid, I finally caught it. So I'm quite out of commission this week. Trying to think or do anything productive feels quite difficult. I have never been contagiously sick in my adult life, so it's a weird feeling. Was gonna try and review a film this week, but that's not gonna happen. Appreciate your patience. Will try and rest so I'm back to my old self very soon.

2024-01-10 05:35:45 +0000 UTCI had COVID last year, but luckily shaked it up without big problems. You’re fit & healthy. You will make it. Get well soon! All the best to you.

2024-01-09 21:30:19 +0000 UTCAw damn…that’s too bad. I’ve never had it either, even though my job put me into contact with people who were never really courteous or mindful about preventative measures against spreading the virus, not even during the worst of the pandemic. I like to imagine COVID as the zombie apocalypse, in that I’m like one of the last of the human race to not get infected and am now trying to survive a world overrun by zombies. Sorry to hear that you’re now one of the zombies. Get well soon!

2024-01-09 18:56:33 +0000 UTCYeah, I was sick in the late summer of 2021, right around the time the FDA started telling pharmacies not to offer Ivermectin to patients. Thankfully, I was able to find a compound pharmacy in my area that could fill the prescription. I keep some on hand for when I’m sick (which is extremely infrequent). I was told by an online doctor that hydroxychloroquine was good for taking as a preventive measure, but Ivermectin helps when you actually get sick. Just want to help you as much as I can.

2024-01-09 18:37:56 +0000 UTCThanks! I actually took ivermectin a while ago...back when people were freaking out about it lol. Did it to try and keep myself from catching it when I had to be around a lot of people. But yes, that's a good idea. I'm really starting to feel better. But I'll take your advice.

2024-01-09 18:37:43 +0000 UTCThat's too bad. I've still managed to avoid getting it and I'm the only one out of my parents and sister that hasn't had it. Drink lots of fluids and get well soon.

2024-01-09 18:20:13 +0000 UTCIvermectin, Quercetin, and Zinc. Take them all and you’ll feel better sooner. When I lost my sense of smell and taste, after my first dose of Ivermectin (which is based on weight to determine the proper dosage) I got my sense of smell and taste back immediately. And I recommend continuing taking the Quercetin & Zinc. They’re good for your immune system. Rest and drink lots of water. And I hope you feel better soon.

2024-01-09 18:10:10 +0000 UTCHaha nah. I can't watch movies while I'm sick. I can't pay attention and just end up sleeping.

2024-01-09 18:07:34 +0000 UTCI spent my COVID sickness in a multi-day delirium watching every Linklater film. Hope you have the energy for a similar type of marathon. One of the great things about movies is they're one of the few things you can consume while sick af.
