Warm-Up Sketch: Incomplete Wolverine

Tools: Bic ballpoint pen, Canson Universal Sketch sketchbook, impatience

I figured this may be worth posting: warm-up sketches are just that--warm-ups. I try to draw stuff that seems like it would be fun at the moment; it makes no sense to try to get ready for work by slogging through a drawing you're not interested in. However, even fun stuff can get boring once you feel like you're all stretched out, as is the case here. I wasn't really sure what to draw to begin with, but decided Wolverine may be fun. I like big, bold expressions and shapes and all that good stuff, which Wolverine tends to provide, but after about 15 minutes or so, I felt like I'd gotten what I needed out of this drawing, and decided to abandon it and get to proper work--which in this case, is inking panels 2, 6, and 7 of this week's JL8 update.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this little insight into my warm-up thought process. New comics are on their way!
