Hey Squad - Today I just wanted to touch base with you guys and talk about what I'm planning moving forward - Yesterday we finished the final video in the Unity series, so the very next topic we will be covering is the Anime-Shader Series. As, most of you probably know, I spent all of my spare time in the background of the Unity series researching and studying the Anime-Shader, and I think I've got a firm enough grasp of it now to at least share what I've learned and point you in the right direction.
So, moving forward we will not only be covering the shader, but also a lot of the components that go hand-in-hand with it. For example, now that we have the shader, I'd really like to see how close we can get to finding a nice clean and quick workflow to create anime fight style fight scenes. In order to accomplish this, there are 2 key areas we will need to tackle: environment destruction, and the special FX that go with the animations.
We'll also need to find the most efficient IK system that will allow our character's to interact with one another when exchanging punches, kicks, slashes, and grabs. I've already found a few pretty good candidates for each of these areas, but well get more into that later - The next video will be the 100K Special, which will mark the beginning of our next move.
So, I look forward to seeing you all there, and as always, hope you have a Fantastic Day -!!
