Sacred Gear Omnitrix Ch. 5

Chapter 5: Unleashing the Giant.

-0-

The weekend finally arrived — the day I was supposed to train with Rias.

It wasn’t going to be a simple training session either. She had planned a mock battle between me and four other members of her peerage.

Rias had organized everything with precision. Issei would act as their ace in the hole, using his Boosted Gear to enhance everyone’s abilities. That alone gave them an upper hand — but maybe that was the point. This wasn’t just for me to learn how to handle the Omnitrix better; it was also a chance for Issei to train. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons Rias agreed to this setup.

Asia would take the role of support, healing her teammates whenever necessary. Koneko, with her incredible brute strength, was the physical powerhouse of the group — the perfect decoy who could break through any defense.

And then there was Kiba, the handsome knight with his sword and effortless charm. He was on the offensive alongside Rias herself. I’ll admit — I was jealous of the guy. The way the girls always fawned over him made me want to wipe that smug look off his face. Today, I was determined to do just that. I wanted to mess him up so badly that no girl would even recognize him afterward.

It wasn’t just competition — it was payback.

I had to choose my alien carefully. One strong enough to face all of them at once.

And I knew exactly which one fit the bill.

Akeno was the one overseeing the match. Her role was to ensure fairness and manage the magical space where we’d fight. She held a paper rune covered in intricate markings, glowing softly as she activated it.

A swirl of energy opened beneath us, transporting everyone to a separate battlefield — a dimension resembling a floating island in the sky.

It was breathtaking.

The “ground” was made of sky-forged stone and scattered floating platforms hovered around us. Hills and cliffs floated in the distance, and an artificial sun burned overhead, bathing the field in golden light.

It looked almost like a stage built by the gods themselves.

The rules were simple: the battle would only end when one side was completely defeated.

---

I looked down at the Omnitrix on my wrist. The dial flickered with silhouettes of alien forms, each one cycling rapidly as I scrolled through the options. My thumb hovered over the one I wanted.

“Here goes nothing,” I muttered. “Let me introduce you to… Four Arms.”

I slammed my hand down on the dial.

A burst of bright green light erupted around me. I could feel my body shifting, rewriting itself from the inside out. My muscles bulged, my skin turned a deep crimson, fur growing thick along my arms. Two additional limbs tore out from my ribs, and my vision split as a second pair of eyes opened above the first.

When the light faded, I stood towering over them — massive, four-armed, and powerful.

The others stared, speechless.

“Whoa… so cool, man!” Issei exclaimed, eyes wide with awe. “I’m actually starting to get jealous of this guy’s sacred gear.”

Even the others seemed impressed.

“Issei, concentrate,” Rias warned sharply.

“Don’t worry, President,” Issei replied, puffing his chest proudly. “I’m gonna protect you and those lovely jugs.”

I sighed internally. Typical Issei.

As he raised his arm, the red dragon gauntlet materialized on his left hand.

“Ddraig, you ready?” Issei asked.

“Let’s go,” the dragon’s deep voice rumbled from the gear.

Then came the familiar sound.

Boost! Boost! Boost!

A green aura burst from Issei, his energy intensifying with each boost. He shared that aura with Rias, Koneko, and Kiba. Rias and Koneko both released soft, involuntary sounds as the surge of energy filled them. Kiba’s power skyrocketed — his blade now gleaming brighter than before.

Rias immediately took command. “Kiba, Koneko — attack! I’ll cover you with long-range destruction magic!”

The two nodded and charged forward.

Kiba’s speed was incredible, his blade slicing through the air, while Koneko came in from the opposite side with a powerful punch. But to me — to Four Arms — their movements felt slow, almost predictable.

Kiba’s sword struck my chest but barely left a scratch. Koneko’s punch? I caught it easily with my lower right hand and flung her backward like a ragdoll.

“His durability’s insane,” Kiba said, backing off. “I couldn’t even put a dent in him.”

“Yeah, he’s too strong,” Koneko grunted, landing on her feet. “I’ve never fought anyone like this.”

Rias’s voice echoed through the field. “Don’t hold back! This is a test — keep attacking!”

They obeyed without hesitation. Rias raised her hands, gathering a sphere of crimson energy — pure destruction magic — and launched it straight at me.

The explosion hit me full force… and barely left a scorch mark.

Kiba and Koneko tried to close the distance again. Kiba aimed for my legs, while Koneko went for my head — a clever two-pronged assault meant to topple a giant. But I could read their movements.

I caught Koneko’s arm mid-swing, used my lower arm to punch her gut, and lifted her effortlessly off the ground. With my other lower hand, I grabbed Kiba’s sword before he could pull back.

Then I swung one of my upper fists straight down toward him.

But Kiba — ever the agile swordsman — released his blade at the last moment, flipping backward just in time.

I tossed Koneko aside like she weighed nothing, her body flying across the field.

Kiba tried to regroup, summoning a line of blade-like spikes from the ground — his Sword Birth technique — but I simply leaped forward, smashing through them. My shadow loomed over him.

“I’m gonna mess you up, pretty boy,” I growled.

My punch connected squarely with his torso. Kiba’s breath left his lungs in a violent cough as he was thrown backward, blood splattering the air.

Of course, I had held back my full strength — but still, within a single minute, I had taken down two of them like it was nothing. Maybe… choosing Four Arms was overkill.

---

“Damn, this guy’s tough,” Issei muttered, clenching his fists. “He swept through Kiba and Koneko like they were nothing. I hate to admit it, but… he’s really strong. It’s kinda annoying.”

Asia, meanwhile, knelt beside Koneko and Kiba, her sacred light glowing softly as she began to heal them.

Rias’s eyes hardened. She could tell the situation was turning against her.

“Issei!” she called out. “Pump me!”

“On it, Pres!”

Issei activated another boost, directing all that amplified energy into Rias. She gasped — a soft, breathy sound — as her power swelled to overwhelming levels.

Her wings spread wide. A huge, glowing magic circle appeared before her.

“Have a taste of this,” she said coldly, her voice carrying authority and danger.

The air vibrated as she unleashed a beam of pure destruction energy. The black and red magic roared like a dragon, tearing through the sky.

For the first time, I felt a tingle of fear — a chill crawling down my spine. But I couldn’t back away now.

I spread my four arms wide and brought them together in one massive clap.

The sound was like thunder. The shockwave ripped through the battlefield, completely disrupting Rias’s attack and sending her flying backward.

“President, no!” Issei shouted. The force of my clap tore through her clothes, the blast overwhelming her before she hit the ground unconscious.

I stared at her motionless body and exhaled. “What a letdown. I had such high hopes… guess I was wrong.”

Then, suddenly — I felt it.

A new surge of power. A burning fury unlike before.

Issei stood trembling, his aura flaring violently. His eyes burned with rage.

Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost!

The gear pulsed faster, brighter.

“You’re gonna regret hurting the President!” Issei yelled, his voice filled with rage. “How dare you bring harm to the boobs!”

Of course, I thought. Leave it to Issei to get mad over that.

“Balance Breaker!” he roared.

A blinding green light engulfed him. When it faded, Issei stood in his Scale Mail form - the Dragon Armor of the Boosted Gear. Everyone was shocked; this was his first time achieving it. I guess all the rage of seeing Rias get wrecked up pumped him to awaken it.

But I only grinned.

“Oh well,” I said, flexing all four fists. “Now it’s about to get fun.”
