The Setting:

The Midnight Kingdom is a realm or an illusory world of eternal dusk, where shadows breathe and beasts speak. The air smells of iron and damp fur. Before you, the four great factions of the Horde present their champions—each a sovereign of their domain. But the throne whispers a fifth option: "Prove your worth. Let them fight for you."

1. The Wolf Goddess (Fenrissa, the Blood Moon Alpha)

- Aspect: A monstrous gray direwolf, her fur matted with the gore of countless hunts. Her howl shakes the earth.

- Gift: Pack Dominance – Command all lesser wolves; superhuman strength under the blood moon.

- Price: Her hunger becomes yours. You must hunt living prey monthly… or she hunts you.

2. Morrigan, the Plague Raven

- Aspect: A skeletal raven with feathers like rotting parchment. Her voice is the sound of a dying breath.

- Gift: Pestilence Speech – Curse enemies with disease; summon swarms of carrion birds.

- Price: Your body withers slightly with each use. Flies follow you eternally.

3. The Slime King (Glut, the Endless Maw)

- Aspect: A shifting, gelatinous mass with thousands of tiny rat eyes. It giggles wetly.
