I'm really enjoying this show though i love the magic and of course our three lovely protagonists. They straight decimating their enemies in this show i love it, hope you guys are doing well and staying safe

2020-08-02 03:59:17 +0000 UTCThis is definitely one of the weaker episodes of Season 1. I wouldn't get too caught up on Victor's characterization. The show couldn't really decide what to do with him yet, so they do kind of retcon/ignore this episode way later. Mostly all that's important to know was that he was an absentee father, who didn't want his daughters to be raised as witches, which put him at odds with Grams (their grandmother), who did want them to know about their birthright. So he didn't have to leave them like that for 20 years, but to his credit, he couldn't really bare to see the girls become witches and be killed by evil like their mother was (which he mentioned). I'm glad you're loving the show. The characters feel like real people, with real emotions and personalities, which makes the chemistry great. And not to pit two shows against each other, but the big problem with Arrow is that none of the characters feel real. They barely have personalities. The action scenes are pretty good for TV, but other than that, I couldn't connect with it. I love the next episode.
