I don’t agree with the way Lois ended things during the dinner but I understand her concerns, tbh one of her bigger flaws is that she uses to speak her mind right on, most of time without thinking twice and she did that in that scene, is not in her character to do it just to humiliate Clark or do a scene in front her mom or Perry (someone she truly admire), she just lost the job of her dreams, and actually is trying to do something to get both their jobs back and in her mind Clark is doing nothing and then disregards her concerns like he doesn’t care, he may had said he understood she was stressed but the way he said it it doesn’t show it, also she is down because of the blur and her relationship with him, she thinks Clark doesn’t get it. People here are saying she is being hard on Clark but she isn’t because she doesn’t know all the problems he has at the moment, so she is not to blame here. And about Martha, she did some shits here but she is protecting her son, a mother would do anything for their children, so in no way it can be compare to what Chloe has been doing the entire season. Can’t wait for the finale!

Agreed. The season 9 finale is a complete 180 of the S8 finale, which was dreadful.

I agree mostly with Olivia, but Clark could have handled it better, and Lois is very impetuous as we all know...and so does Clark.

Clark deserved and had it coming during the dinner considering that he was trying to make Lois lie to Perry and Martha. At that point, Lois felt that she was on a downward trajectory and the fact that Clark who contributed to that trajectory, wants her to lie is unacceptable. Quite frankly the way Clark treated her at the beginning of the episode, Lois should have been more angry at the dinner, but she did not say anything bad about Clark.

This Red Queen stuff further supports my case for Chloe (not that she's justified in everything she does but that she gets way more flack than she deserves). This episode proves that even Martha, FREAKIN' MARTHA, can stoop to shady levels to accomplish what she thinks needs to be done in order to protect those she loves. "I'm not a fan of his tactics but he got the job done," that's Chloe in a nutshell. C'mon, you cannot tell me that Martha kryptoniting Clark, brain-attacking Tess and then verbally ripping a hole through her core is not "Chloe" fashion shade. Now for the Clois drama. Even though they have the fewer conflicts of most couples in the show (second to Chlollie), I never quite understood this breakup or Lois' logic. I'm not a relationship expert but I'm pretty sure that break ups are not decisions that should be made in the heat of the moment (unless you walk in on them cheating or something). Clana's breakups were all a long time coming and the one doing the dumping had clearly given it a lot of thought. Even if you think Lois' reasoning makes sense and the breakup is completely justified, she had it out with Clark in front of his mom and her boyfriend! I don't care how mad you are, that's messed up. Despite how painful and frustrating Clana's breakups were, at least they were private.
