Smallville Season 8 Episode 6 Reaction

A great episode. I’m so sorry for Davis, he is a tragic character, he sees himself as a good guy, he tries to be one, that’s why he works as a paramedic, but his dark side is stronger than his will and that’s break my heart. And if things were different I definitely go for chlovis, I think I like them a little better than climmy.

Great reaction as always, this episode was always one of my favorites, season 8 and 9 are probably my favorite seasons of the show so I'm glad you seem to like it so far. The show got new showrunners for season 8, that's why they had so many changes in cast, scenary and focus. The previous showrunners were too focused on Clana and keeping things the same, and the new showrunners were more into moving the story closer to the Superman lore and superheroics.

Begging you to pay more attention. You really miss a lot, A LOT of beats from yapping over dialogue. There was a whole scene of Chloe complaining about Clark listening too intently to the police blotter, and then the audio from the blotter is playing over all of Clark's saves, and somehow you still are asking how Clark knows where crimes are happening. Also, you don't have to pretend like you don't know what happens to Jimmy. We already know that you know, remember? Ain't fooling nobody. Same with the whole Lex/Michael situation that you haven't brought up once since 8x01.

It's also a really bizarre, misogynistic viewpoint that women are "unlucky" for being assaulted and raped, and that men are "lucky" that they're not (even though they are). Women aren't "unlucky." The blame is not on them or on "luck." It's the perpetrators who are awful.

"I'm so glad I'm a guy. I don't have to worry about this crap. I get drunk at bars all the time, no one's gonna kidnap me." Probably not, but you're definitely not safe from robbery. Just because you're male doesn't make you immune to crime and creeps.
