Smallville Season 7 Episode 17 Reaction

When she used light-years in this episode first, it was to describe how far out of her league hacking into a government satellite is, which is proper grammar when using it informally. And in the episode Hero she does actually use it as a time period, which could either be a mistake on the writers part or sarcasm on Chloe's part. I choose to believe is sarcasm/a joke. And the second time this episode is talking about time travel, so I'm sure it was also sarcasm

Am I the only one who noticed that Chloe in this episode "twice" referred to the term "light years" as a time period. Now, we all know that Chloe is a very smart person. Was she trying to be funny or does she really lack basic astronomy knowledge? BTW, Lost Gamer, it's great to be here on your Patreon. I got all caught up with you on Youtube so I figured why not join. I am impressed with both the longer video reactions and the clear PIP.

I had forgotten this episode lol, a filler one but funny in a ridiculous way.

Also, we still don’t know much about Jimmy at this point. We just know that he met Chloe in the past and they had a “thing”. So we don’t know his past aka his origins and why he went to Metropolis. He might just have taken some self-defense/karate classes when he was younger. So he probably does have some fighting skills inside of him. Let’s add the fact that he is a photographer, but also a part-time reporter. Breaking a story or fighting bad guys/getting justice gives him adrenaline. So maybe his agent superhero adrenaline was at an all time high. 😂. But your instincts about Jimmy is correct! His intentions and heart is in the right place, but being in a relationship and friendships where you feel that you’re being lied to, definitely SUCKS. You want to help and protect them, but can’t do much because they won’t tell you what’s going on. I totally understand Jimmy’s frustrations and Chloe’s attitude/behavior doesn’t help their situations. But obviously from the end of this episode, they want to keep that part of mystery aka continue to keep secrets from each other until they’re both ready to share. Which we all know by watching this show isn’t a good thing for relationships. Anyways, episode 18 is one of my favorite episodes in this season. I’m sure you will enjoy this episode too! Some foreshadowing within episode 18 and it’s great! ❤️

This was the episode where I finally started to see where the Clana haters were coming from. For the longest time, I was with you. I still liked Lana as a character, even though she turned into a shady one, at least a little. I never shipped them and I realize that their relationship was problematic but I enjoyed certain moments for what why were. Even in my Clana vs Clois video I gave them some credit. I didn't understand the amount of hate Lana got and how Clark only got some occasionally (even though he is just as responsible for the relationship as she is and HE is the one blindsided by her). This was the episode where I was like "okay. Lana is NOT more important than Lex figuring out how to control you, Clark. I get that you love her but sitting by her side all night doing nothing is NOT what matters right now." The anti-Clana's still haven't won me over to the extremity of their hate but I can empathize with them a BIT.
