Makes we wonder if familiars also naturally occur on earth too (thinking about Kainan's ravens early in Asmundr or even Panic, if they count as familiars) or if Piccolo was actually born in Aedra and the sky gods brought him to earth for Lifa. 2019-02-14 08:28:16 +0000 UTCLooking back, it seems that only the Liulfr's (with exception of Jahla and Lifa) had familiars and even if others do, they do stand out from most. While Ran's crow didn't have the ability to speak like Piccolo does, it does show that he did understand him. I also noticed that so far, only the rabbits associated with the Liu's can speak, as indicated by Lifa and Ninmha. This makes me believe that they are also possibly a creating from the sky gods as they are very unique opposed to most species and as seen as the hare in the beginning of Home. But I think that like Lifa, Piccolo was chosen as a special case as he does stick out a bit more in terms of fur color, etc but upon seeing Folluin , maybe family? Just a hunch haha but it seems that only certain hares and other creatures (like the crow) are chosen by the sky gods to watch over them in their absence. Thought I'd throw that out here xD
