Character release: I-no

After a whole ton of trial and error I feel she's in a good state to be shared, here's I-no with her look from GG Strive.

While I originally wanted to add her Xrd look, due to the GG artstyle that's next to impossible to replicate in VAM with addition of the weird quirks that her clothes had this was a very tall order.

Eventually it was taking way too much time to get those right and since this was a personal project I felt that for my sake and to honor the poll results quicker I should focus on her base look and move on for now.



However this is not a light package, to keep that characteristic look and not make her clothes impossible to actually use in most lighting/scenes she has a LOT of CUAs:

Rigged hair
Rigged hat
Rigged Skirt+Belt
Glasses (purposefully static so they fit well)
Rigged Guitar


Due to her very stylized look she looks best using the amazing plugins made by hunting-Succubus, in the first images 4 she's under this plugin:
Subsurface Scattering


Additionally, you can use anime/cell effect plugin to achieve a more anime/GG ST look as seen on the fourth and fifth images

However, I made this look to make her as general and widely usable as possible, so she should look great even without these plugins, not using them achieves a more realistic look as seen on the last few images.


It's important to note that due to rights set by hunting-Succubus these plugins are NOT contained in the .var, anime/cell effect is free on the hub and you can get Subsurface Scattering on his patreon which I heavily recommend as he makes incredible content, but I also tried to achieve a balance so she should look great under more standard VAM lightning, which is the screenshots that you see after.


IMPORTANT: IF YOU USE THE ANIME CELL PLUGIN ABOVE TURN OFF/CHANGE THE DECAL MATERIALS FOR A DUMMY TEXTURE, REMOVE/EDIT ANY CLOTHING WITH TRANSPARENCY AS THIS PLUGIN DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH TRANSPARENCY (from personal use at least)


Additionally, as she has skirt/guitar CUAs, they will probably clip with her body during movement.
If you don't care about that you can just download the .var package and move on, but if it bothers you I'll I've uploaded a couple CUAs which are visible colliders that are intended to interact with the skirt and guitar, you can move and edit them to fit whatever look/collision you're happy with.
Once you are happy with the result, use Parenthold plugin to keep them in place and then swap the CUA colliders for the HIDDEN ones, the collision should remain but they won't be visible anymore, lastly, save them all with CUA manager to keep them all in one neat package.



As always, use CUA manager for her CUAs.

Sadly her Jacket was a real PITA due to some weird geometry, wrapping and stylized look of the original mesh.
After a lot of mesh editing, sculpting, texture work, UV editing and rewrapping this is as good as I could get it to look, sadly the decal/cross area still gets warped no matter what.

SMALL UPDATE: Added the colliders as a separate download (place them in VaM/Custom/Assets so you can find them easily with CUA manager), couple fixes to her texture files and a slight touch up on the limb lines to make them blend a little bit better.
