Discipline Delivered Game Mechanics (Part 5)

Hey everyone!

I'm a bit late today, but going to give my promised preview of my plans for the records system. So considering there will be a fixed number of characters and jobs in the game, I figured it would be a good addition to have a dedicated records section where you can look up all sorts of info on the various spankees in the game. I plan on there being loads of information available for each spankee as you encounter them. Some things will have practical use, like most hated implement and what personality core is more effective with them. Other things will be just for flavor, like a biography section that builds a bit of a profile for the character. There will also be extensive information on your performance with that character, like a list of all of the rankings of missions you've done with them, how many spanks delivered and with what implement, your high score with that character, and other such things. I think it'll be a small touch that some players will really appreciate seeing in the game. I hope the experience of watching a character you enjoy get a more detailed and extensive history with you is something people find worthwhile.

And naturally, what corporate computer system wouldn't be complete without an employee profile? There will be a separate page for stats and info specific to the player character. Things like your name, current position (to track promotion levels), average performance, total ranks earned, total jobs done, total spanks given, and stuff like that. Just more auxiliary knowledge for the people who'd appreciate that sort of thing.

With that, it concludes my series on previewing the major features/plans of the games. I hope this builds some excitement from you all about what's to come. I've been in progress with starting work on the next release. I'm not 100% sure of what will be included, but I'm aiming to have part of the store/configuration menu done and a new character with new jobs added to play with. I'm thinking a bratty rich boy character... Stay tuned for the next update!

I'm happy it's sounding fun as a concept. hopefully I can deliver a result that can follow up on it :) I have a lot of characters planned out as generic archetypes, but not much set in stone yet. Thankfully the system also allows new characters to be added without much issue.

Just want to say I'm loving the sound of the mechanics you've previewed with these posts! Very much looking forward to the next version and learning about the version characters and such! There's a few that come to mind that I think would be very interesting to see in a setting like this, and I'm also very excited to see what you come up with!
