Discipline Delivered Game Mechanics (part 3)

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for dropping off for a bit, I was in the middle of a big vacation when I started these posts and things were ramping up the last few days. I'm back home now, so I want to wrap up these last few posts previewing what I have planned for the game so I can actually get back to work on it! For this post, I'll be previewing the Email system today, which I think will add a creative touch of worldbuilding to the game.

The first thing I want to mention is that the email system is 100% passive. There won't be any drafting of emails by the player, I couldn't be so cruel as to subject you to that any more than you already do in your personal lives. The email system is more like a creative message/notification avenue where the game will send you things like tutorials, tips, bits of lore, and other such content. For example, after you purchase the paddle implement, you'll get an email detailing the mechanics for the minigame that you'll play during the spanking. Another email would detail the personality cores and their effect they can have on the spankee. For lore related emails, you could randomly get an email with a short list of employee names who have been "volunteered" for robot testing due to poor performance, or after a high rank on completing a job, you could get an email from the spankee's parents thanking you for a good job. These are just a handful of ideas I've thought up to use in this system that I'll be adding at a later point in time, but I think it has a lot of potential and will be a nice touch of flavor for the players.

Tomorrow I'll be going over the Promotion system and Training mode, two smaller components I have planned.
